The Red Door is looking for nights, weekend and some Holiday help! We are an upscale boutique liquor store located in the heart of downtown Eureka. We take pride in our customer service and our staff's knowledge of the products we sell. This job is a very "hands on" position. Primary responsibility is to create a warm and welcoming environment for our customers. Candidates must be available Tuesday- Sunday and must have at least 1 year retail or sales experience. Knowledge in wine, beer, liquor and cigars is a plus. Need to be able to work POS System and have experience using computer. Needs to be able to lift 25lbs or more. Must have reliable transportation. Some housekeeping required. Must be 22 years of age to apply. If you do not have at least 1 year sales experience or a background in wine, beer, liquor and cigars please do not apply.

Job Purpose: Performs a broad range of cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and attractive appearance of the Library building, both interior and exterior. Essential Responsibilities: 1. Cleans and dusts tables, counters, other furniture, and shelving units of all types, and removes trash from containers in the public service areas using appropriate cleaning products to provide a clean and sanitary environment. 2. Maintains floors to provide a clean and safe environment with a neat appearance. 3. Cleans restrooms to provide a neat and clean appearance and a sanitary environment for customers and staff. 4. Cleans staff work area and staff break room to provide a clean and neat work environment. 5. Maintains grounds to provide safe, neat, and tidy outdoor environment. 6. Performs periodic cleaning projects, including heavy cleaning, and other duties as assigned to make the library an attractive, clean, and safe environment for staff and customers. 7. Assists in setting up meeting rooms for Library programs and outside meetings. Job Qualifications: One year of previous custodial experience Must possess a commitment to a high level of public service to Library customers and other staff Physical and Metal Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to stand and reach on an 8 ft. ladder Ability to work with little or no supervision at times Ability to stand for up to eight hours per shift Ability to bend to very low shelves or area of the Library building or reach up to very high shelves or areas of the Library building Ability to use a pc, word processing, and e-mail
